Newcastle Ocean Baths, built for generations to enjoy
City of Newcastle has submitted an amended Integrated Development Application for the Newcastle Ocean Baths revitalisation project, which is on public exhibition until 23 September 2026.
To help community members understand the proposal and planning process, we're offering one-on-one information sessions with the project team. Online and in-person options are available.

These sessions are for information sharing only and will not be used to collect feedback on the proposal.
As the application is now in the formal planning assessment stage, any comments must be lodged through the official public exhibition process. Submissions received during the exhibition period will be considered as part of the statutory assessment process.
The revitalisation project aims to deliver an accessible, welcoming and functional facility that respects the Baths' heritage and can be enjoyed for generations to come.
